Customer Review :
Does not work : Interact V3 Racing Wheel
Trust me, you don't want this wheel. I have one. It's inoperable. Yeah, for a little while, it worked great. A little while meaning about 2 weeks. So far, I've had to take mine back for a replacement twice. The manager at the store I purchased it from told me he wouldn't be able to replace it for me again, and that I would have to deal with the manufacturer after this. They also said that every one of the units they sold, had come back. The thing is a piece of junk. Have no doubts about it, the V3 Wheel WILL BREAK. First of all, my unit was used by adults ONLY. It's not like I had a bunch of little kids messing with it. The first one I had broke at the stopping point at the far feft and right sides, so that the wheel turned all the way around. Needless to say, it was completely useless and the moment that happened. The second one I had must've had a bad solder connection somewhere. The user controlled item, (car, plane...whatever) would for no apparent reason, and without warning, turn sharply one way or the other. Even with the wheel centered, and no one touching it. The third and final unit,(the one I now have)has just recently become useless as well as the first two. The pedals do not work any more. In testing and calibrating, and finally, reinstalling the drivers for it, I've found that the pedals are sending no signal. The cables are fine...the connections are fine...all is well except for these stupid pedals(which are WAY too close together, anyway. Wait til you have to use both the brake and gas when you can't just go full throttle. You'll be hitting both of the pedals at the same time. I promise. Plus the pedal box slides all over the place.) Bottom line: It's all plastic, and unless you'll only be using it about once a month, you better count on replacing it like underwear and socks... Alan and Monica
